Chinas Militär zwischen Tradition und Moderne Teil 3: Strategische Kommunikation, Kunst und internationale Operationen

Strategische Kommunikation

We should follow the trend and take advantage of it, study and grasp the characteristics and laws of political work in the information network era, study and grasp the laws of modern news dissemination and the development of emerging media, promote the high integration of traditional advantages of political work and information technology, and enhance the initiative and effectiveness of political work. The picture shows soldiers of a unit of the Joint Logistics Support Force using the Internet for learning.

  • One by one, one by one

In March 2017, with the approval of the Central Military Commission, the Political Work Department of the Military Commission took the lead in establishing the Strong Army Network. The Strong Army Network is a website system composed of the portal websites of the Central Military Commission and the Party Committees of units at or above the regiment level, mainly used to publish authoritative information, provide online services, and provide work guidance. Since its launch in March 2018, it has been widely connected to grassroots battalions and companies, and has increasingly become a red platform that serves the Party and the army, an information platform that helps strengthen the army, a practical platform that leads innovation, and a service platform for officers and soldiers.

Actively promote the in-depth integration and development of media, build a modern military communication system, and strive to create an integrated and integrated production system of "Military Media Smart Cloud", provide an all-media editing environment for the open interface of the whole army, realize the information gathering on a "cloud", production in a "kitchen", and the distribution of products on newspapers, TV stations, websites, terminals, microblogs, and screens. The whole army has formed an Internet media matrix with the official new media accounts of units above the army level as the backbone, which has become an important position for disseminating authoritative military information and showing the era of the army.

In order to promote the ideological and political education of the military into the Internet and win the officers and soldiers, we aim to create "good teachers" for officers and soldiers' learning and education, "good comrades" for communication and heart-to-heart talks, and "good helpers" for life services. We organize the development of the "Study to Strengthen the Army" client, and build a mobile learning and education service platform that connects the entire army and directly reaches officers and soldiers.

Building a modern military communication system

The war correspondent team, the war photography team, and the literary and artistic light cavalry team go deep into the grassroots to spread the voice of the Party, go to the front line to tell the story of strengthening the military, integrate into the troops to play their combat functions, serve the officers and soldiers with enthusiasm, and promote the propaganda and cultural work of the military in the new era to the battlefield and forge ahead.

"community with a sharded future for mankind").

China's military upholds the concept of building a community with a shared future for mankind, fulfills its international responsibilities and obligations, carries out humanitarian rescue operations, and provides more public security products to the international community. As of January 2022, China has organized 40 batches of more than 120 ships and more than 31,000 officers and soldiers to carry out regular escort operations in the Gulf of Aden and Somali waters to maintain the security of international maritime passages, providing security protection for more than 7,000 Chinese and foreign ships, more than half of which are foreign ships. The picture shows the 40th escort fleet of the Navy performing its mission.

China has become the second largest contributor to UN peacekeeping operations and the country with the largest number of peacekeepers among the permanent members of the UN Security Council. The Chinese military has always kept in mind its original intention and mission of fulfilling its responsibilities as a major country, maintaining world peace, and serving the building of a community with a shared future for mankind. It has made important contributions to promoting the peaceful settlement of disputes, maintaining regional security and stability, and promoting economic and social development in host countries, and has become a key factor and key force in UN peacekeeping operations.

Oben: A PEACE ENVOY SPREADING PEACE FRIENDSHIP AND LOVE

The Peace Ark hospital ship has gone abroad nine times, sailed more than 240,000 nautical miles, served 43 countries and regions and more than 230,000 people, and effectively served the country's overall political and diplomatic situation.

As a strong brand image of China in the New Era, she has opened a window for the world to know China.
